A Church Of Pentecost
About Us
Welcome to DMC, Deliverance Missions for Christ Church.  We are a church of pentecost with a mission to reach believers with a word of faith, healing, and deliverance that promotes wholeness and successful living.  DMC was founded by Ministers Bloomfield and Helen Pitts in 1971.  The start of the ministry was found in the hearts of this couple as they sought God's face as to where to begin helping His people.

In the spring of 1979 the two opened their home to young children, ages 5 to 13 for Vacation Bible School where the Lord was touching many young children and teaching them faith.  Soon after, the Lord dealt with Helen to open their home to adults and preach the gospel to their hungry hearts.  God blessed DMC and the congregation began to grow.  Many were being saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Ghost.

In 1980 the organization moved to 69th Avenue, a store front in West Oak Lane.  With the passing of Min. Bloomfield Pitts the Lord began to take the church in a new direction.  DMC Incorporated was formed with the mission to provide programs that would facilitate spiritual and personal development; ministering to the whole person.  Services would now be held across the street at 6848 Ogontz Ave; which is the present location for services at DMC today.

God has brought the church, ministry, and missions through many challeneges and triumphs; therefore one thing remains the same, "with God all things are possible" (Luke 1:37).
Faith Statement (Full Version):

We believe the Bible originated in the mind of God, not in the mind of man. It was given by verbal and plenary inspiration. Inspiration in the biblical sense meaning that God so superintended the writers of Scripture that they wrote what He wanted them to write and were kept from error in so doing.

We believe the Bible to be the true center of Christian union and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions, shall be tried.

We believe there is only one God, (Ephesians 4:6). As for natural attributes, He is transcendent, He is exalted and eternal, the world’s Creator, Sovereign, and Judge (Isaiah 57:15).

God is imminent however, as well as transcendent, in that His presence and power pervade His entire creation. God is omnipresent and omniscient (Psalms 139:2).

As for moral attributes, Holiness is perhaps the most comprehensive of all God’s attributes.

We believe in a Triune-God, in that there is only one God as essential divine being but in the being of God there are not three individuals but only three personal self distinctions within the one divine essence; Jesus Christ (Romans 1:7), as the dear Son… Who is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:13,15) and as God our Savior (Titus 3:4) and the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3,4) sent by Jesus to bring conviction and to apply to men what Christ had accomplished.

We believe the Genesis account of creation and that man came by direct creation of God and not by evolution.

We believe that man was created in innocence under the law of his Maker, but by voluntary transgression fell from his sinless and happy state in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners, not only by constraint but of choice; and therefore under just condemnation without defense or excuse.
